The signature cookies here weigh in at a dense six ounces – heavy, mound-like sweets that have more in common with New York’s Levain style than a delicate patisserie. Brianna Cryar opened this South Congress storefront in late 2024, moving the operation indoors after a stint in a food trailer. The shop functions strictly as a takeaway counter. There are no tables and no patio, so you step in, make your selection from the display, and carry your box out.
The case is stocked with items designed for maximum richness. Aside from the standard chocolate chip varieties – which keep their interiors intentionally underbaked and gooey – the menu features Mimi’s Boozy Bread Pudding, a heavy dessert topped with brandy sauce based on a family recipe. You will also find seven-layer Hello Dolly bars, thick squares of salty caramel shortbread, and oversized Rice Krispie treats flavored with Biscoff cookie butter.
The kitchen runs a specific rotation for its more labor-intensive items, reserving tiramisu and fluffy brioche cinnamon rolls for Friday through Sunday only. Drinks include house-made lemonade and coffee brewed with beans from Stumptown and local roaster Praxis. The operation also adheres to a strict packaging ethos, handing over all orders in plastic-free, compostable materials.
