The red 1969 Chevrolet Corvette mounted upside down on the ceiling makes the intention here immediately clear. Located in Windsor Park, Busty’s is a dedicated throwback to the 1970s, designed by co-owner Eric “Busty” Morris to feel like a vintage boogie van expanded into a brick-and-mortar hangout. The interior is dense with period-specific clutter, from neon signage and beer memorabilia to a photo booth lined with collages from old lowrider magazines.
It is a casual space where you order at the bar and find a spot among the vinyl booths or shared tables. The kitchen focuses on heavy comfort food like smash-patty burgers, mushroom melts, and onion petals, with a fish burger that only appears on the menu on Fridays. The bar supports the retro energy with frozen drinks, draft cocktails, and plenty of Miller High Life.
There is a separate room with a large table for groups, but much of the activity spills outside. The covered patio hosts a pool table and is generally dog-friendly. While the vibe is loose, the rules are specific: minors are welcome until 7 p.m., after which the space is strictly 21-plus, and seating is always first-come, first-served.
