Pause Venice is a modern recovery studio built entirely around a menu of tech-focused therapies. Located where Venice, Mar Vista, and Marina Del Rey meet, the whole space is designed to be a clean, peaceful environment. The interior is aesthetic and spare, with a focus on private rooms where most of the services take place.
Contrast therapy, for instance, happens in a dedicated suite with its own infrared sauna, a cold plunge pool, and a fully stocked private shower. The idea is to alternate between the extreme heat and cold to boost circulation and reduce inflammation. Flotation therapy is a different kind of immersion – you float effortlessly in a sensory deprivation tank filled with skin-temperature water and a high concentration of Epsom salt.
The studio also has full-body LED light therapy beds that support cellular repair, and Normatec compression therapy that uses targeted air pressure to enhance circulation, a technique common with professional athletes. You can also get IV drips and custom vitamin shots, with options like NAD delivered directly into the bloodstream for maximum absorption.
It's worth noting that a brief consultation with a Physician Assistant is required before any IV treatment. While you wait, you’re often handed a cup of ginger tea. For the flotation sessions, earplugs are recommended for the entire float, and the tanks are built to accommodate taller people, even those over six feet. Towels and toiletries are provided for the showers, so you can just show up.
