Pennyroyal Farm sits just outside Boonville, surrounded by vineyards, pasture, and working farmland. Goats and sheep graze near the outdoor tasting area, where guests sample estate wines alongside cheeses made on-site. Seating is spread across a patio and shaded corners, with views looking out over Anderson Valley.
Tastings usually include five wines paired with seven cheeses - from soft-ripened rounds to aged sheep’s milk wedges. Boont Corners Vintage and other seasonal styles are made in small batches at the creamery. An on-site kitchen prepares simple dishes that rotate depending on what’s available, offering more than just a snack.
Farm tours run twice daily and include a walk through the barns and creamery, with a stop to see the animals up close. Even without a tour, visitors can view the production space through large interior windows. The layout makes it easy to move between the tasting patio, shop, and grazing areas - keeping the experience casual but connected to the farm’s day-to-day work.
