Hotel Hana is a conversation between two cultures, set inside a renovated Haussmannian office block in Paris's "Little Tokyo" neighborhood. The whole concept is a fusion of Japanese minimalism and French romanticism, a dialogue that plays out in every material and texture. Designed by Laura Gonzalez, the interior spaces are wrapped in a palette of terracotta, mustard, and rust orange, all anchored by the hotel’s signature prune color. You’ll find custom furniture made from iroko wood, walls covered in straw, and lacquered fixtures that feel both opulent and restrained.
The lobby is arranged around a prominent ceramic bar and raku tables, leading into the Hanabi restaurant and bar. This is a destination in its own right, with a menu that blends French bistro traditions with Japanese influences. The cocktail list is built exclusively from French and Japanese spirits, and there's a serious sake selection available.
Down in the basement is the hotel's wellness area. The swimming pool is a small "pocket basin," and its use is managed by booking a time slot for a completely private session. The 26 rooms and one suite are designed as quiet, soundproofed retreats, with bicolored marble in the bathrooms and custom carpets from Marguerite Le Maire. Minibars are stocked with specific finds like organic Genmaicha green tea, bean-to-bar chocolate from Encuentro, and sparkling yuzu juice from Shikoku Island.
